Living Phree: Faith, Freedom & Fearless

with Krystle Nicole | Episode 12 – The FaithFlex Podcast
1

In a world obsessed with self-help and self-made success, what does it truly mean to live free?

For Krystle Nicole, founder of Phree Living Company, the answer is found not in status or accolades, but in surrender—specifically, a fearless, faith-filled surrender to God's plan. In this week’s episode of The FaithFlex Podcast, we explore what it looks like to live Phree—on purpose, with purpose, and for a greater Kingdom cause.

🙌🏾 Faith Is the Foundation, Not the Backup Plan

Krystle's story is more than an entrepreneur's testimony—it's an unapologetic defense of biblical faith in action. Launching a wellness brand as a single mother in the middle of a global pandemic isn't just bold—it's obedient.

Her journey echoes the biblical truth in Hebrews 11:1 (NKJV):

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

Faith wasn’t just Krystle’s safety net. It was her strategy. And when the money came fast, the fame followed, and the pressure mounted, her foundation in Christ is what kept her grounded—even when everything else seemed to fall apart.

💸 Success Without Stewardship is a Setup

As Krystle transparently shared, her six-figure success in six months brought blessings—and burdens. The financial increase exposed hidden expectations, strained relationships, and spiritual distractions. But God used the chaos to call her back to the basics.

“The real prayer isn’t just, ‘Lord, bless me.’ It’s, ‘Lord, teach me how to manage what You’ve given me.’”

This is where an apologetic worldview matters. Christians are called not just to receive God’s blessings, but to reflect His character through stewardship.

As Luke 16:10 (ESV) reminds us:

“One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much, and one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much.”

In other words, our faith must be visible in how we manage money, influence, and trials—not just in how we pray.

🛡️ Fearless Doesn’t Mean Flawless

At the heart of Krystle’s journey is a powerful apologetic principle: truth isn’t void of suffering—it’s verified through it.

She didn’t just survive business losses, burnout, and betrayal. She endured a hate-fueled attack on her storefront. Instead of retaliating in rage, she chose righteous resistance—meeting injustice with intercession, advocacy, and accountability.

“My son told me, ‘Mom, you’ve been so gentle in this season.’ That’s how I know God is working.”

This is a modern-day echo of Romans 12:21 (CSB):

“Do not be conquered by evil, but conquer evil with good.”

Her response wasn’t weak—it was wise. It was witness. That’s fearless faith.

🧠 Healing is Holy: Therapy + Theology

A major apologetic takeaway from Krystle’s testimony is the validation of therapy as part of our theology.

“Therapy didn’t just save my life. It saved the lives of people around me.”

In the faith community, we often over-spiritualize struggle and under-value support. But sound counsel is not a sign of weak faith—it’s a biblical mandate.

Proverbs 11:14 (NIV) declares:

“For lack of guidance a nation falls, but victory is won through many advisers.”

It’s time we defend a full gospel: one that includes healing for the heart, mind, and soul.

💡 Final Word: Your Story is Still Unfolding

One of the most profound truths Krystle shared was this:

“Just because I went through divorce, doesn’t mean I’m disqualified. My story’s still being written.”

If you’re reading this and feel stuck in shame, scarcity, or self-doubt—remember: God’s grace doesn’t expire where your pain begins.

As Philippians 1:6 (NLT) says:

“And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.”

So yes—start the business. Heal from the breakup. Speak up in the meeting. Set boundaries. Go to therapy. Say yes to God. Say no to guilt. Live Phree.
